Nigeria Judokas upholds Oshodi As The Best Candidate For The Next Federation's Presidential Election

As the national sports federation election draws nearer, stake holders of different sports are ready to use wisely their voting power to determine the future of their sports. 

The Nigeria Judo Federation is also not left out of this great event. The federation has been craving for a judoka - president for the past 8years, and due to this, Judo coaches, players and other stakeholders that matters in the federation, have in their large number declared support for Dr Musa Oshodi, a formal vice president of the federation and an ex judoka.

Musa  as a formal zonal representative, sponsored three zonal championships from 2011 to 2015 with the exception 2012 and 2013 due to the clashing of the events with the  national sports festival and also the national school sports and other national events that lead to the postponements of the tournament  to 2014. 

Having served as  vice president till 2017 and didn't come back to the board, he went back facing his medical profession but never left judo for once. In 2018, he was the chairman of the technical team the officiated the judo event at the West African University Games in Uniport, he was also present at the national sport festival to organize the Nigeria judo federation referee election in December 2018, in the same vein, he was also present at the 2019 All African Games trials and engineered  the settlement of the dispute between the athletes and the federation officials.

Furthermore, Dr Musa Oshodi, as the chairman Oshodi Judo Foundation sponsored a national judo championships July this year in Ibadan . Due to this achievements, ample number of stakeholders declared their approval to him  as the best candidate for the next election.
